Harlequin Serpent Starfish

Harlequin serpent stars, Ophioderma appressum, are highly attractive starfish suitable for any reef tank, including nano reef tanks. This species exhibits significant color variation, with white and dark gray-banded legs that are less common and truly unique.

These hardy starfish are excellent at consuming leftover food in the aquarium. They are easy to care for and require no special attention. Typically, they hide under rocks during the day but will actively come out to search for food once it is introduced into the water.
