Cave Basslet – Extremely Rare

The Cave Basslet, a species inhabiting the depths of the Caribbean waters, boasts vibrant red, yellow, and blue hues that render it a captivating inclusion for any aquarium.

While generally compatible with larger fish, Cave Basslets may exhibit territorial behavior towards their own kind. Within an aquarium setting, providing an abundance of caves and rocky spaces for concealment is advisable for these fish. Their preference for dimmer lighting is attributed to their deep-sea habitat.

To sustain the carnivorous Cave Basslet, a diet rich in meaty sustenance is recommended. This includes mysis shrimp, and high-quality frozen carnivore foods.
