Jewel Damsel (Microspathodon chrysurus)

$19.99

The Jewel Damselfish, commonly referred to as the Jewelfish, displays a striking black color with shimmering blue dots during its juvenile stage. As it ages, its coloration can shift from brown to yellow, with the spots becoming smaller and less distinct.

Due to its highly aggressive nature, it is advisable to keep only one Jewel Damselfish per tank. A suitable environment for this fish is an aquarium that is 50 gallons or larger.

In terms of diet, the Jewel Damselfish is adaptable and will eat a range of foods, including meaty items, herbivore-specific preparations, and flaked foods.
