Condylactis Anemone 3-Pack

$29.99

The Condy Anemone, also known as the Haitian Anemone, is commonly found in lagoons and inner reefs across the Caribbean and Western Atlantic. Their coloration is diverse, with a base hue ranging from brown to white. Their elongated tentacles might sport red, purple, or green tips and sometimes resemble bubbles. For safety, they often anchor their base in sand or hide within rock crevices.

In a saltwater aquarium, Condy Anemones require intense lighting. While they flourish in environments that mimic reefs, they aren’t suitable for coral-rich reef tanks. These anemones are known to roam the aquarium, stinging other anemones and corals, which can inflict significant damage. They also have a tendency to consume live fish. Unlike many anemones, the Condy Anemone doesn’t form bonds with specific fish and seldom hosts damsel or clownfish. Their diet should comprise fish, mussels, shrimp, and similar foods.
