Green Moray Eel (Gymnothorax funebris)

The Green Moray Eel has a yellowish brown robust tubular body; the dorsal fin runs from behind the head and extends the length of the body. The elongated mouth is loaded with sharp teeth used for capturing prey.

The Green Moray Eel can adjust well in a larger home aquarium. Provide plenty of well secured aquascaped live rock for shelter. This aggressive eel will eat a variety of crustaceans and small fish.

Eels will eat all meaty foods including fish, shrimp, squid, and some frozen prepared foods. Use a long feeding rod to feed your eel. They can be trained to associate when it’s feeding time.
